  • Brogley’s provides hoarding relief for individuals and families. We help separate items to be sold, donated or trashed to help the home and other items be prepared for sale. A candidate must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds. Separate items based on trash, donate or sell. Must be able to follow instructions as to moving furniture and other objects.

    Job Duties

    • Separate items to be designated as trash, donate or sell. 

    • Moving client’s possessions.

    • Move trash to the dumpster. 

    • Move items to be donated to van.

    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. 

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Drug Free

    • No Convictions

    Work Type:

    Part-Time as needed. Total work hours 16-24 hours

    Pay Range:

    $17.00 - $20/hour based on experience

    Work Environment & Physical Demands:

    • Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and not climate controlled

    • Requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling  

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    Location:

    Meet location in San Antonio is Hilton Garden Inn Airport, 12828 San Pedro Avenue, 78232.
    Transportation will be provided from the meet location to the work site location.

  • As an as-needed position assist individuals during transition into new or modified living spaces. Provide information about job/scope of work/services, outline each step of the transition, provide consultations, conduct intakes, and oversee the implementation process. This may include help organize and downsize our client’s possessions, prep the home for sale, hire movers, supervise the move, and set up the new living space, etc.

    Job Duties:

    • Assist clients to visualize their future home/apartment/assisted living dwelling or aging in place to provide a recommended course of action. This requires creativity to make the new dwelling feel like home and fit with the client’s expectations, needs and lifestyle.

    • Consult with clients and conduct intakes.

    • Confer with potential customers regarding needs and advise.

    • Update client information portal daily.

    • Develop plan and assist with the organization and movement of clients’ possessions.

    • Consult with Brogley’s leadership to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.

    • Maintain strictest confidence to protect Brogley’s reputation and organizational value.

    • Drive trucks/panel vans up to 16 feet.

    • Stay up to date with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

    • Create letters, memos, emails

    • Public speaking (small groups)

    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands:

    • Work may be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment

    • Much of the work may be away from the office, on a job site and/or outdoors.

    • Requires the ability to travel, use of personal vehicle

    • Requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, stopping, kneeling

    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds

    • Must be able to drive a 16-foot truck/van

    Qualifications:

    • Valid and clean driving record (no points)

    • High School Diploma

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
